Sevenoaks Town FC U14s looking for centre halves (2017-09-12) (2017-09-30)

Sevenoaks Town FC U14's are looking for two centre halves to join their talented squad and are also interested to hear from high quality players in any other positions.

The squad trains twice a week (on Mondays and Thursdays from 19:30) on the newly laid 3G pitch at Greatness Park in Sevenoaks. The team has a very experienced group of coaches (all UEFA B or Level 2 qualified) including Billy Thornton, who guided Bridon Ropes to three Kent Youth League Cup finals and most recently won the Ryman Youth League with Tonbridge Angels last season. The team also has multiple links with professional clubs and academies for players looking to make the next step in their football career.

The team is due to travel to Sheffield United in October to play against their Academy and - after last season's tour to Portugal to train with and play against Sporting Lisbon's Academy - arrangements are being finalised for the team's tour to Spain next April to play against another top European Academy.

At the time of writing, the club's first team sit top of the Kent Premier League and are seeking promotion to the Ryman League. The first team has a track record of providing opportunities for young talent, including the likes of Jack Miles who last season scored the winner in the club's record-breaking FA Cup run.
