Support Dan Blades running the London Marathon (2018-03-10) (2018-04-30)

In April, Dan Blades, one of our Kent Youth League referees and previous goalkeeper for Tonbridge Angels and Tunbridge Wells, is running in the Virgin Money London Marathon to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance, two charities close to his heart. It has been one of his childhood dreams and he was given the chance to participate by his athletics club, Tonbridge Athletics Club. He has set himself an ambitious target of completing the 26.2 mile distance in 2hrs 45 minutes and at the same time, hopefully raise at least £1,500 for his chosen charities. Dan has already participated in the Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells half marathons in the last six months finishing 4th and 6th respectively, in a best time of 1 hour, 17 minutes and 12 seconds. To help complete his quest, he is seeking the support of the Kent Youth League community and would be extremely grateful if people could follow the link below to read more about his challenge, the charities he is supporting and, if possible, donate to what he believes are two worthy causes.
