Sevenoaks Town FC U14’s looking for players (2017-11-09) (2017-12-31)

Sevenoaks Town FC U14's are looking for high quality players in all positions to join their talented squad.

The squad trains twice a week (on Mondays and Thursdays from 19:30) on the newly laid 3G pitch at Greatness Park in Sevenoaks. The team has an experienced group of six coaches led by Billy Thornton, who guided Bridon Ropes to three Kent Youth League Cup finals and most recently won the Ryman Youth League with Tonbridge Angels last season. Each of the coaches specialise in a particular position to ensure all of the players get detailed coaching in their respective roles.

The team is progressing very quickly now. Any player wishing to join should be prepared to work hard within a competitive squad to improve as a player, bring in plenty of energy and character and commit to being part of an exciting and ambitious project.

The team is due to travel to Sheffield United to play against their Academy and - after last season's tour to Portugal to train with and play against Sporting Lisbon's Academy - arrangements are being finalised for the team's tour to Spain next April to play against another top European Academy.

At the time of writing, the club's first team sit top of the Kent Premier League and are seeking promotion to the Ryman League. The first team has a track record of providing opportunities for young talent, including the likes of Jack Miles who last season scored the winner in the club's record-breaking FA Cup run.

To get in touch, please contact the team's manager Sam Lansdale on 07809403688 or samlansdale@gmail.com.
