Tonbridge Angels football Academy have 2 SPACES left to join our scholarship programme at Hugh Christie School for Septembers 2020/21.
Tonbridge Angels football academy offer a ride range of A level & BTEC qualifications, alongside a full time football Scholarship at Hugh Christie School. Students are also offered the chance to do their FA level 1 qualification with an option in their 3rd year to do a Level 3 Personal Training Qualification. All scholars train 3 times a week & compete for Tonbridge Angels on a Wednesday Afternoon in the National u19 youth league or Kent Academies league. Tom
The scheme is headed up by UEFA A Licence coach & 1st team coach/Captain Tom Parkinson, alongside coaches, Hugo Langton (UEFA A licence & Welling United assistant manager), Jamie Coyle (UEFA A Licence coach & FA Licensed Tutor), Dom Welsh & Rhys Bartlett.
In our 2 years of running we have had the following success so far:
- National u19 League Winners
- 8 1st team debuts
- 18 different players train with the 1st team
- 1 player on trial with Leicester City
- 100% BTEC level 3 pass rate
- 18 FA Level 1 coaches
- 6 players go to University
- 1 Academy student Head Boy of the Hugh Christie Sixth Form
- 1 Academy student Deputy Head boys of the Hugh Christie Sixth Form
